Frazier Linder Wright Sollars, age 72, of LaGrange, passed away on January 18, 2019 at the St. Francis Hospital. She was born on April 23, 1946 to the late Henry Wright and Cassie Worley Wright in LaGrange, GA. She was a devoted mother and MeeMaw. Mrs. Sollars was a lifelong member of County Line Baptist Church / Creekside Baptist Church where she played the piano for 50 years. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Education from LaGrange College. She continued her education at Columbus State University where she received her Specialist in Education Degree. She first began her teaching career in Troup County. Shortly afterward, she moved to The Republic of Panama where she taught for 3 years. She then returned and worked for the Troup County Board of Education for 29 as a teacher and mentor before her retirement.
Survivors include her daughter, Cassandra “Cassie” Zito and her husband, Edward; grandchildren, Karen Elizabeth Zito, John Henry Zito, Joseph Frank Zito, II, Hunter Edward Zito; cousins, Ellen Parkhurst, Joanne Floyd; extended family and friends.
Family will have a time of visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel on Friday, January 25, 2019. A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Creekside Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Geter, Pastor Bryan Geter, and Dr. Lamar Truitt officiating.
