Mr. Michael Fuller passed to our Lord's arms on Monday, June 25, 2018. He was born on December 2, 1989 at Kennestone Hospital and joined his family, Al and Cindy,Dough, and Jennie. He attended Heritage School in Newnan, South Meck High School in Charlotte, and graduated from Walton High School in Marietta. He excelled in both academics and athletics.
Mike was blessed with many talents. It was his honor to be chosen captain of his baseball and soccer teams at Milton High School and NASA elite travel team. He played Division 1 soccer at Tennessee before transferring to his beloved University of Georgia. Mike graduated from the prestigious Honors Program at UGA. He loved his finance employment at NCAA, Rolls Royce and Park 'N Fly.
All along the way, Mike collected endearing life-long friends. He embraced each one and everyone expressed they felt that Mike was "his best friend." But most importantly, Mike loved the Lord. He clung to God's Word and truly showed all of us God's unconditional love and sacrifice. Generous, kind, compassionate and highly determined to do his best were his finest qualities that he bestowed throughout his days.
To their tremendous sorrow, he leaves behind his parents, All and Cindy, his sister, Jennie and husband Daniel Mendonca, his nephew Lucas Cole, and his older brother, Doug. Family he loved included his aunt and uncle Dr. Greg and Roberta Egnacyk of Cincinnati, Sarah Hasselback of Boston, Allison Sammons of Connecticut, Tiffany Fisher of Chicago, Becky Hunter of Charlotte, Lauren and Alison Boc of New York, Dr. Tom and Terri Boc of Alpharetta, Patrick Bran, Kevin Quinn of Kentucky.
The family wants to express their gratitude to family, friends that traveled across the United Stats to celebrate Michael's life with us. Visitation will be Thursday, June 28, 2018 from noon until 1:00 p.m. at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel at 1 Bullsboro Drive in Newnan, Georgia. Funeral Mass will be held at St. George Catholic Church in Newnan at 2:00 p.m. The committal service will directly follow the funeral and will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan.
